8.1 Do not systematically focus your strategy on the aspects that contribute the most.
Assessment tools identify the factors that contribute most to environmental impact. However, reducing these impacts can sometimes be very costly and inconsistent with your company's environmental policy. Consider prioritizing these environmental aspects, taking into account your potential for action (means and resources), the gains generated, and your strategic objectives.
