5. Managing eco-design

Once the environmental footprint of the system has been calculated, you will be able to map out your product's strengths and weaknesses in terms of environmental performance. However, the priorities identified during this initial stage must correspond to the expectations and needs of stakeholders. You will therefore need to combine this result with strategic information in order to define your eco-design strategy. This data will be generated using the following tools.

  • Regulatory monitoring, which will enable you to determine the regulatory landscape in which your company operates. You will need to comply with all the requirements you have identified.
