6. Our advice

6.1 Get involved quickly

Although the pace of change is slow, it is nonetheless irreversible – and innovations will continue to modify our approach to healthcare and our use of technology. Some of them will be disruptive. However, it is essential for all players involved to make a rapid commitment to the use of connected health devices, even if their efforts are still limited. The essential point is not the technical choice, but the medical (or public health) interest and the learning curve. Vigilance with regard to security, privacy and, of course, the protection of the individual for sensitive applications is paramount: guarantees on these points are decisive when it comes to launching a program.
