4. The development of IoT in healthcare: likely scenarios

IoTs will develop, but independently and then with interrelationships.

In the home, offers will gradually be able to collect a wide range of information, combining medical and wellness sensors, and will then be able to collect information from the cell phone (or, in general, during the mobile phase). Several technical offers will be organized around a box. These offerings will be supported by ICT players in general, start-ups associated with various types of mutual insurance companies, insurance companies and provident institutions. After some difficult debates, legislation will have to define the protection and security of health data – rapidly at European and international level.
