5. Presenting results
Once you've identified current and rising leaders, and if the exercise presented here isn't just for your personal benefit, the presentation of your results is important for the decision-makers who will use them. So here are some interesting points to represent. You can start with a summary of your general research, specifying how you selected the leaders you present. You can then draw up a sheet for each leader, including the following points.
Temporal evolution of notoriety: this measure shows whether a professor is close to retirement or a young intern on the verge of becoming an expert.
Learned societies and expert groups: those to which the leader belongs should be mentioned. Specify the major journals in which the leader is a member of the editorial and/or scientific committee.
