Conclusion

On the basis of a consensus definition of innovation and an analysis of what is usually understood by change, it was shown that a discipline had emerged and developed for the management of organizational innovations. The discipline in question is change management. Its practitioners and theorists have proposed numerous models and approaches that are now part of organizational culture and practice, even though they first appeared several decades ago. However, the changes that organizations have to bring about involve more and more people, different levels of activity, different subjects, different geographical areas... and this means that these models are beginning to be called into question. It's against this backdrop that a current of thought is developing around the concept of the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) world.
