3. Validate design specifications

Once the specifications have been drawn up, it's time to define the specifications of the future product/service in greater detail. To do this, the project manager and design team translate the design objectives into more precise technical criteria as far as possible. Where possible, these criteria are quantified. They are used to develop detailed concepts. For example, an objective such as using warm colors will be transformed by specifying the use of a range of colors characterized by reference frames such as RAL or NCS.

Once the detailed specifications have been drawn up, it is important to have all the criteria obtained validated by the design team, so as to remain in line with the initial objectives.
