4. Knowing each other's roles

To determine roles and responsibilities within the crisis team, it's essential to set out the specific tasks that each member must assume. One effective method is to create a RACI matrix (Responsible, Authorized, Consulted, Informed), which clarifies everyone's responsibilities and avoids misunderstandings. Once roles have been defined, it's crucial to draw up communication protocols detailing standard procedures for disseminating information, whether internal, external or via social media. To do this, it is necessary to identify and prepare suitable communication channels, such as messaging platforms, e-mail, videoconferencing and social networks.
