Eco-design

Integration of environmental requirements into product design while preserving other design parameters (cost, quality, technical feasibility, etc.), with the aim of improving the environmental performance of the product throughout its life cycle.

Eco-innovation

Innovation that directly or indirectly involves reducing the environmental impacts associated with a product, process, or service compared to existing products, processes, or services or other alternatives.
