6. Capitalize on and leverage results

Once the eco-innovation project sheets have been finalized, they are sent to the company's decision-makers (e.g., the R&D director) for evaluation and to determine whether or not to proceed with the proposed projects.

To facilitate this task, a number of indicators can be proposed to compare the different projects. These indicators may relate to:

  • feasibility (implementation time, profitability, technical feasibility, degree of internal expertise, etc.);

  • the potential environmental gains; projects can be positioned on the Brezet wheel. Environmental indicators (such as LCA) or indicators of increased environmental competence within the organization may also be relevant;

  • the short-, medium-, or long-term nature of the proposed projects; ideally,...
