4. Our advice

4.1 Manage the deposit of multiple Soleau envelopes

The Soleau envelope is the most economical form of filing, so it's not uncommon to multiply envelopes to get around the problem of volume, or to take account of changes in your innovation. No matter how creative you are, you'll soon find yourself in possession of dozens of envelopes, the contents of which you risk forgetting over time. And of course, opening the envelope is out of the question. To prevent this from happening, it's a good idea to set up the following organization:

  • keep a chronological register of deposits, indicating the date, number and purpose of each envelope;

  • attach a legible duplicate of the contents to each envelope;
