3. Defining the structure of the knowledge base

Once all the Internet sites have been "wired" (see Step 2), the flow of information begins. We're now retrieving continuous information from our mailbox. As we've seen, this information can be used :

  • This information can be used "as is" to feed updated monitoring media such as newsletters, RSS feeds, intranet...

  • after classification and analysis in the knowledge base and, when the volume is sufficient, for sorting and statistical purposes.

So we need to be able to quickly classify the information we receive, extracting the most important data from the raw data to create our database.
