 INTRODUCTION

Air Liquide has integrated an automated monitoring tool called KeyWatch for its R&D department. How did it take its needs into account when selecting the most appropriate monitoring tool? How did it manage to integrate it effectively into its technology watch process?

The sheet describes the problems associated with :

  • the originality of the open innovation approach and the definition of needs for innovative technologies;

  • selecting a monitoring tool ;

  • setting up a technology watch process.

In response to these issues, we present the scope of the innovation team's investigations, the way in which the tool is implemented and integrated into daily monitoring and, finally, the changes brought about by KeyWatch in the monitoring process.
