A greater investment in time and money has to be made at the start of the design process (search for solutions, iterative process), but it must eventually lead to an optimized product and savings on the cost of non-quality. In addition, the indirect benefits of universal design can be numerous: sales volume, image benefits, customer loyalty, etc.
