Or what it evokes: you need to force the group to come up with concrete ideas; always ask: "What ideas does this image inspire in you for dealing with our subject?", not just "What does this image inspire in you?".

Give participants time to look at them and absorb them. Often, the same image can evoke different things in different people, so you'll get more varied and richer ideas.
