5. Mistakes to avoid

  • Do not change objectives during the course of the assignment without first agreeing with the consultant on new terms of intervention (planning, resources, etc.), formalized in an amendment to the initial contract.

  • A lack of follow-up or responsiveness in the interaction with the consultant (inertia in validation, late transmission of inputs, etc.) can significantly undermine the dynamics of the intervention.
