3.1 Ergonomics designed and tested
When a cyclist arrives at a station to take the train, the first issue is speed and fluidity. It's vital that cyclists are able to enter the station, drop off their bikes, and make their way to the platform in less than 5 minutes, watch in hand. Check-in is therefore a particularly strategic stage for the parking lot operator. For this reason, considerable efforts are made to provide the clearest possible signage for users, to separate flows into and out of the parking lot, to encourage as far as possible the connection of parking lots with bi-directional cycle lanes offering rapid access, and finally, to offer the most numerous and rapid OV-chipkaart validation systems possible.
