3. Define the form of procedures

There are no standard requirements in this area. It's up to the company to define the form that suits it best, according to user expectations, the complexity of the activity described and the skills of the people involved.

Procedures can be found in text form, or as a graphical representation, such as a flowchart.

Text makes it easier to specify details and describe specific situations. If you choose this option, remember to take care with the layout and use drawings, diagrams... Your document will gain in clarity and attractiveness.

Flowcharts visualize the sequence of actions. They are simple to read, and easily understood by all. As the different phases are represented, each actor can situate his or her role in the activity and visualize interactions.
