Does the 2015 version of ISO 9001 do away with procedures?
Yes and no! What is certain is that it removes the requirement for procedures. The name disappears, as does that of registration. ISO 9001 now speaks of documented information; the company must itself define the operational documentation it needs, on the one hand to supply compliant products and services, and on the other to satisfy customers (this was already the case in the 2008 version). All these documents and documented information must be managed according to criteria that have hardly changed (verification, approval, review, readability, accessibility, retention...).
