5. Continuous monitoring of small containers during packaging

Inspection is the operation used to check and/or eliminate parts, products or individuals making up a batch or production run whose specific characteristics deviate from tolerated limits.

Control can be statistical, continuous, random...

  • Statistical, or discontinuous, control involves partial verification of product quality or conformity to a predefined standard. This control is carried out by means of samples taken on a planned or random basis during the process. It may or may not be destructive.

  • Continuous control is applied to all production elements. It requires almost immediate verification and corrective action.
