4. Food consumption in France

For 1995, the average food consumption (in kilograms or liters per inhabitant) [8] is shown in the table 3 for foodstuffs generally preserved and marketed under cold conditions.

Table 4 shows the biggest increases and decreases in consumption of chilled and frozen products between 1980 and 1995.
