4. Obligations of operators of ICPEs subject to declaration

In addition to complying with the general requirements laid down by ministerial decree applicable to its facilities (and any specific requirements issued by prefectural decree), it must also ensure compliance with the environmental, energy and workplace safety regulations governing its activities. In addition, the operation of a plant may be marked by events requiring the completion of certain administrative formalities.

4.1 Notification of changes

Operators are required to notify the Prefect of any modifications to their facilities before they are carried out. For ICPEs subject to the declaration system, this modification declaration is made via the remote declaration service. The operator must indicate whether the modifications concern :
