3. Administrative procedures for declarations with periodic inspections

The declaration system with periodic inspection remains a declaration system and, as such, is subject to the same administrative obligations as the simple declaration system, whether for plant commissioning or operation. The main difference lies in the fact that, at the operator's request and expense, periodic inspections are carried out by an approved body (see 1 ). This is the special feature of this system, since it is the only one today that can be inspected by a body other than the inspectorate for classified installations.
