4. Control of facilities subject to registration

Facilities subject to registration are subject to inspection by inspectors from the regional directorates for the environment, planning and housing (DREAL), in the same way as facilities subject to authorization or declaration. For the Île-de-France region, this is the Direction régionale et interdépartementale de l'environnement, de l'aménagement et des transports d'Île-de-France (DRIEAT), and for overseas territories it is the Direction de l'environnement, de l'aménagement et du logement (DEAL).
