13.  Conclusion

Waste is one of the major problems of the 21st century.

Waste is generated at different stages of a product's life cycle: when raw materials are extracted, during manufacturing, during use, and at the end of its life. It is caused by all economic actors. In a context of growing demand for goods, prevention, waste reduction, and recycling help to reduce pressure on natural resources.

As a result of uncontrolled consumerism, they are invading the world, both land and sea. Some countries are responding by creating waste policies. Europe has created a 6-digit classification system based on the main producer, the properties of the waste, or the production sector. The French classification is also based on a breakdown: 338 Mt of waste, including 260 Mt for construction and public works (estimate for 2025). These figures are increasing by an average...
