Prefectoral decree

Administrative act concerning an enforceable decision of general or individual scope issued by the prefect, imposing the execution of a certain number of prescriptions.

Operator

Natural or legal person responsible for the operation of a facility, from its creation to its shutdown or transfer. It must demonstrate that it complies at all times with technical operating specifications and does not create irreversible environmental or safety consequences.

Nomenclature

List of 400 industrial activities where each heading is identified by a 4-digit number, the first 2 of which identify the substance or activity family. Each heading provides a description of the activity, as well as any thresholds for which classification regimes are defined.
