2. Identify the regime(s) applicable to your plant

To determine the classification system applicable to your project, please refer to the nomenclature of classified facilities (see appendix to article R. 511-9 of Code de l’Environnement ).

The various stages in the positioning process can be summarized as follows:

List the various hazardous products (using safety data sheets), activities and equipment used in your facility.

Identify for each of them the nomenclature heading numbers (and wordings) that could apply, knowing that :

  • 1000" items concern the use/manufacture of hazardous substances;

  • the "2000" headings refer to an activity or piece of equipment;...
