1. How to exclude a hazardous event from a PPRT?

The accumulation of risks is based on the hazardous phenomena identified in the hazard study. Based on all the hazardous phenomena with off-site effects, the industrialists must propose a list of phenomena to be included in the PPRT. This list is then submitted to the Administration for review. Regulations offer the possibility of excluding certain hazardous phenomena by applying exclusion rules.
