5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't forget to check the independence of the technical MMRs valued when applying the general rule.

The exclusion of a hazardous phenomenon based on this rule is only possible if the independence of the valued MMRs is explicitly verified. If the valued MMRs do not meet the requirements described above (cf. Criterion of independence of technical measures), then the exclusion proposal will not be accepted by the Administration.
