2. What are the main requirements of ISO 14001?
As with ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001, the first three chapters of the standard describe the scope, normative references and terms and definitions. Chapter 4 covers the requirements for taking into account the company's context, the needs and expectations of interested parties, and the definition of the environmental management system. Documentary requirements, performance measurement and monitoring, non-conformity management, audits and management review are comparable to those of ISO 9001.
