 INTRODUCTION

ISO 14001 is applicable to all types of company, whatever their size or sector of activity. It is based on the PDCA principle, and is compatible with ISO 9001 for the quality management system and OHSAS 18001 for the occupational health and safety management system, soon to be replaced by ISO 45001. It does not impose a level of results, but rather a requirement for pollution prevention and continuous improvement of performance and of the management system itself. It is, of course, a certifiable standard.

In this file, you will find :

  • the benefits of an EMS ;

  • a presentation of the main requirements of ISO 14001 ;

  • how to integrate the EMS into your organization.
