2. Discover the integrated approach to environmental issues

Environmental law encompasses a number of regulations covering a range of issues: water, air, waste, noise, etc. As these regulations are juxtaposed, it is important to check which ones apply to a given project, and what the associated obligations are.

The situation is different for an ICPE. The integrated approach means that all environmental impacts (air, water, soil, noise, vibrations, waste) and accident risks associated with the operation of an ICPE can be taken into account in a single authorization, issued by a single administrative authority.
