Packaging

One or more containers and all other elements or materials required to enable the containers to fulfil their retention and other safety functions.

Dangerous goods

Materials and objects whose transport is prohibited under the ADR or authorized only under the conditions stipulated therein.

UN number or UN No

This is the four-digit identification number for hazardous materials or objects.

Transport

The change of location of the dangerous goods, including stops necessitated by transport conditions and including the stay of the dangerous goods in vehicles, tanks and containers necessitated by traffic conditions before, during and after the change of location.
