2. Identify and classify dangerous goods
The aim is to identify the goods concerned by TDG regulations within your structure, to reference them according to their hazard class, and to collect as much information as possible concerning the transport of these goods, so that it can then be passed on to the various participants in the transport chain via the documents required by the regulations.
2.1 What are dangerous goods?
According to the French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development (MEDD), "goods are classified as hazardous when they are likely to have serious consequences for people, property and/or the environment, due to their physical and/or chemical properties, or due to the nature of the reactions they may cause".
