4. Mistakes to avoid

4.1 Don't make mistakes when identifying dangerous goods

There are two ways of finding out the UN number and the proper shipping name. Refer to Table B "Alphabetical index of ADR substances and articles" in Chapter 3.2.2, as described in the data sheet, and to Chapter 14 "Transport information" in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for your goods.

However, even if the SDS is a document subject to REACH regulations (see REACh: understanding the main principles and procedures [FIC 0121] ), it is nonetheless questionable.
