 INTRODUCTION

Regulatory constraints will force a growing number of manufacturers to have their sites cleaned up.

When it comes to solving a soil decontamination problem, there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Treatment is often a combination of several techniques.

The choice depends mainly on the nature of the soil, the pollutants present, the clean-up objectives to be achieved, the timeframes imposed, the space available, the economic and regulatory context and the future destination of the site.
