 INTRODUCTION

ISO 31000, the risk management standard, takes up the challenge of providing a common foundation for the multitude of risk management methods and practices specific to the sector or activity concerned. The first version of this standard dates back to 2009, and was revised in 2018. It provides an applicable framework, whatever the sector, size or activity of the organization concerned, for the implementation of relevant and effective risk management that contributes to the organization's sustainability.
