6. Frequently asked questions

Who signs the letter of authorization?

The person who intends to commission the installation subject to authorization. In the case of a legal entity, the signatory must indicate his/her capacity. Please note: in all cases, the signatory is responsible for the content of the file. This person must therefore have the authority to decide on the commissioning date and to comply with the requirements set out in the prefectoral decree.

Is there a difference between a letter requesting authorization to operate a new activity and a letter requesting authorization to regularize an existing facility?

No. The information to be provided is the same. However, it is up to the operator to specify which activities are already in operation at the date of the request.
