7.1 Incorporate user experience and physical ergonomics from the design phase

The purely electrical aspect often overshadows everyday use. Consider the direction in which vehicles are parked (is the charging port at the front, rear, or side?), the length and weight of charging cables (which are often heavy and stiff in winter), lighting in the charging area for winter nights, and protecting charging stations from impacts during maneuvering by installing metal protective posts.
