2. The Management Compass®: mindset mapping

The aim of the Management Compass ® is to assess the cost in euros of an unsuitable state of mind at work. To do this, we need to be able to "measure" the state of mind, and define the operator who converts these measurements into euros. We show you how to map the state of mind, how to measure discrepancies and the resulting costs. Explaining and demonstrating the mathematical operator is not the object of this article.

There are three components to the Management Compass ® :

  • the complexity of work processes (C ), that which must be mastered ;

  • employees' desire for autonomy at work (A ) ;

  • perception of autonomy (P ), that which employees feel when carrying out...
