Overview
ABSTRACT
This article describes the standard injection presses through their specific characteristics ( clamping and injection systems, etc.) and their global characteristics. The global architecture of classical injection presses is also studied and illustrated with several examples. Certain combinations of constructive solutions or particular architectures, used by the constructors of these machines, can allow for non-standard injection techniques. Within this framework, this article also presents the multimaterial systems, the injection-compression and intrusion of the architectures of special presses, the fabrication of hollow parts by injection of fluids and also the micro-injection system.

INTRODUCTION
In the article describes and comments on the constructive solutions used by injection molding machine manufacturers.
The purpose of this article is to describe the characteristics of injection molding machines, and the means and methods for quantifying them. It also deals with the combinations of constructive solutions that make up the architecture of presses, as well as the particular architectures that enable functions specific to non-standard injection molding techniques to be achieved. Comments accompanying the descriptions will help the reader choose the optimum solution for his or her application.
The choice of a standard press, its use and process optimization are described in the article .
