ABSTRACT
The shaping of thermoformable matters such as polymers is carried out by injection. In order to achieve this, the matter is softened and then injected in a mould. The moulds, installed on the injection moulding machine are mostly constituted by two shells (a fixed part and a mobile one) strongly pressed against each other during the moulding process and then separated in oder to allow for ejecting the moulded part. The moulds must therefore respect certain conditions so that the temperature does not deform them and in order to allow for ejecting the cooled hardened matter.
