 INTRODUCTION

When classifying a mixture on the basis of its constituents, if several constituents are classified in the same hazard class, it is necessary, for certain health effects, to take all these effects into account. This is known as additivity. The health hazard classes concerned are :

  • acute toxicity ;

  • skin corrosion and irritation ;

  • eye damage and irritation.
