1. Simple "general mechanics" assemblies

These assemblies use parallel spur, helical or chevron gears (see [BM 5 620] , figure 4), spur or spiral gears (see [BM 5 622] , figure 2), as well as worm gears (see , figure 6).

1.1 Parallel gearboxes

We only consider high-quality products, with surface-hardened (usually case-hardened) and ground teeth (ISO 6 minimum quality).

These teeth are generally simple helical with a relatively small angle of inclination (15° max.).
