3. Handling

3.1 Production

The manufacture of a concentrate revolves around the following main areas:

  • use of 8 to 25 different raw materials per concentrate;

  • mixing carried out by powerful propellers in reactors ranging from 1 to 30 m 3 ;

  • brewing time of 1 to 48 hours with a temperature that can be regulated between 20 and 80°C.

Each concentrate produced in this way is identified by a batch number, enabling product traceability. Its manufacture is recorded on a manufacturing sheet, along with the manufacturing method and the batch numbers of the raw materials used.
