3. Choosing the right professional auditor

A statutory energy audit must be carried out on the initiative and at the expense of the building owner, prior to any offer for sale of a D, E, F or G property. It should also be noted that the cost of the service is not regulated. However, the audit must be carried out exclusively by an accredited independent professional who meets certain criteria and has taken out insurance.

3.1 Certified professional auditors

For multi-family dwellings, contact a qualified "Energy audit of buildings (tertiary and/or multi-family dwellings)" consultancy, e.g. with the OPQIBI qualification.
