In practice, standard operation sheets alone cannot cover all possible types of energy-saving action, as some actions are more complex or non-generic. For this reason, the system provides for the valorization of "specific" operations.

Unlike standardized operations, the energy-saving amounts of specific operations are not fixed and are specific to each operation. They are subject to special scrutiny by the Pôle national des certificats d'économie d'énergie (PNCEE).
