  • F-Gas: the F-Gas Regulation ( règlement (UE) n° 517/2014 ) is European legislation designed to reduce the use and emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases (also known as F-gases) due to their high global warming potential (GWP).

  • GHG: greenhouse gas.

  • HFC, HFO: hydrofluorocarbon and hydrofluoroolefin refrigerants.
