8. Mistakes to avoid
8.1 Do not underestimate the time required to implement certification.
If you are not already ISO 14001 certified and you are a large company, it will take at least 18 months to complete this project. If, under these conditions, the certification concerns several sites, an additional 2 to 4 months will be required. We recommend using the Gantt Project tool to establish a realistic schedule.
Don't forget to update the action plan regularly.
