3. Why use synthetic fuels?

3.1 Compatibility of e-fuels with current technologies

We will likely end up using synthetic fuels in the future, as they represent a new approach compared to other energy solutions: unlike other alternatives, their adoption could occur in a way that is relatively seamless for end users and avoid the need for major technological developments.

The main advantage is its compatibility with existing internal combustion engines, allowing for a "drop-in" solution—that is, the replacement of traditional fuels without any major technological changes.
